Department Administrator
Our Opportunity
Location: Iron Bridge - Fortescue’s Iron Bridge project is located on the traditional lands of the Nyamal people.
Roster: 8D 6R FIFO ex Perth
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Department Administrator to provide comprehensive administrative support to our Iron Bridge operations team. In this role, you will ensure smooth day-to-day operations, coordinate communication, and maintain accurate records. You will act as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders while supporting leaders in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, responding to queries or directing them appropriately.
- Manage document control, filing systems, and information distribution.
- Prepare correspondence, reports, and presentations to support departmental activities.
- Arrange travel and accommodation and complete monthly credit card reconciliations.
- Raise and manage purchase orders to support timely invoice processing and payments.
Qualifications and Experience
- Demonstrated experience as a Department Administrator, ideally within the mining or resources industry.
- Certificate III or IV in Business Administration (or similar qualification) - desirable.
- Current WA C-Class Driver’s Licence.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- High attention to detail with strong written and verbal communication skills.
