- Establish frameworks for automated SAP notification generation, including trigger logic, prioritisation, and suppression rules.
- Integrate diverse data sources such as wireless sensors, historian systems, inspection reports, and hazard reporting into structured maintenance workflows.
- Partner with the Manager – Maintenance AI to operationalise AI models within asset health and maintenance systems, ensuring alignment to business outcomes.
- Ensure all system outputs are accurate, actionable, and aligned with asset criticality and maintenance strategies.
- Drive alignment across Asset & Materials Management, AHP, Operations, and Technology teams to ensure consistent integration design and delivery.
- Establish governance frameworks to ensure data quality, traceability, and effective management of system-generated alerts.
- Identify and prioritise opportunities to improve system integration, reliability performance, and maintenance efficiency.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system capability and reduce manual intervention in maintenance processes.
Qualifications and Experience
- Tertiary qualification in Engineering or a related discipline; cloud or systems architecture certifications desirable.
- Extensive experience (10+ years) in heavy industry, ideally within mining, processing, port, or rail operations.
- Strong understanding of asset management, reliability, and work management processes.
- Proven experience in systems integration, data structuring, and developing scalable data solutions.
- Experience integrating enterprise systems (e.g. SAP EAM/PM) with operational and analytical platforms.
- High level of technical capability, including API integrations, data warehousing (e.g. Snowflake), and query development (e.g. T-SQL).
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex stakeholder environments and influence senior leaders.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into business outcomes.
- Experience working with AI-enabled solutions and embedding them into operational workflows is highly regarded.
