Short Description

Work Location: Cloudbreak - Fortescue’s Cloudbreak mine is located on the traditional lands of the Palyku and Nyiyaparli peoples.

Roster: 7d7n14r (2:2) - FIFO ex Perth, Broome, Karratha, Fitzroy Crossing, Port Hedland or Busselton. 

Key Responsibilities

• Align team activities with overall business objectives
• Ensure compliance with the skills training matrix for both self and direct reports
• Conduct field leadership interactions and complete incident investigations in BMS
• Identify, develop and publish Safe Work Instructions (SWIs) to support best practice operations
• Manage OPF budget and safety performance, ensuring key targets are achieved
• Adhere to and promote safe systems of work at all times

Qualifications and Experience

• Mechanical trade background and or engineering qualification
• Statutory Supervisor Schedule 26
• Fixed plant experience working as part of a maintenance team
• Previous experience in a leadership position
• Strong focus on safety
• Demonstrated teamwork and continuous improvement aptitude
