Our Opportunity
Location: Fortescue’s Solomon mine is located on the traditional lands of the Eastern Guruma and Yindjibarndi peoples.
Roster: 8D6R ex Perth
The Project Services Coordinator is responsible for both coordinating and performing SAP-based planning, procurement and scheduling activities to enable project execution. The role ensures materials, vendors and financial processes are aligned to execution plans and delivered accurately and on time.
This role works closely with Project Execution Coordinators and SAP Planners and Coordinators to translate execution plans into structured system outputs and deliverables.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute SAP planning and scheduling activities in alignment with project execution plans.
- Coordinate and perform procurement activities including requisitions, purchase orders and vendor engagement.
- Order, track and manage materials to ensure availability aligns with execution schedules.
- Process and manage invoicing and payment activities in SAP.
- Support contract and vendor management including engagement, performance tracking and issue resolution.
- Support vendor mobilisation activities in coordination with project and execution teams.
- Track and manage materials, vendor status, and procurement progress across multiple work fronts.
- Maintain accurate financial tracking including CAPEX and OPEX expenditure.
- Communicate updates, issues, and priorities clearly to stakeholders.
Qualifications and Experience
- Strong SAP proficiency across planning, procurement, materials and financial management.
- Demonstrated experience with procurement workflows and vendor coordination.
- Experience in materials coordination and supply chain processes.
- Understanding of CAPEX and OPEX expenditure and budgeting.
- Experience with contract and vendor management.
- Demonstrated experience working across project lifecycle stages.
- Previous mining industry experience (iron ore preferred).
