Work Location: Christmas Creek on the traditional lands of the Nyiyaparli people

Roster: 7D/7R FIFO ex Perth, Busselton, Broome, Karratha, Port Hedland, Fitzroy Crossing and Kununurra

Christmas Creek is seeking a qualified Plumber to safely deliver maintenance, repairs and inspections across plumbing, gas and reverse osmosis systems supporting site infrastructure and village operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and breakdown plumbing maintenance and repairs
• Maintain plumbing, gas and reverse osmosis systems across site assets
• Complete inspections and ensure compliance with standards and legislation
• Use SAP to create notifications, close work orders and confirm time
• Participate in daily pre-starts, toolbox talks and safety meetings
• Conduct risk assessments prior to undertaking all tasks
• Report hazards, incidents and unsafe conditions promptly
• Coach and mentor apprentices to develop trade capability onsite

Qualifications and Experience

• Current WA Plumbing Trade Certification
• G Class Gas Fitting Licence
• WA Class C Driver’s Licence
• Relevant experience in mining or heavy industry environments
• Demonstrated troubleshooting and repair experience on plumbing systems
• Knowledge of applicable legislation and Australian Standards
• Experience using Microsoft Office and SAP systems
• Forklift ticket, excavator, skid steer and loader competencies preferred
