Fixed Plant Electrician
Our Opportunity
Location: Christmas Creek - located on the traditional lands of the Nyiyaparli people
Roster: 7D7N14R FIFO ex Perth, Busselton, Kununurra, Fitzroy Crossing, Broome, Port Hedland & Karratha
Key Responsibilities
- Breakdown and preventative maintenance on OPF (ore processing facility) assets
- Daily inspections, repairs, and maintenance of fixed plant equipment
- Diagnostics & fault finding
- Scoping continuous improvement opportunities
- Raising notifications and work orders
- Modular and shutdown maintenance
- Statutory testing and inspections
- An understanding of AS3000, Work Health Regulations and Acts
Qualifications and Experience
- Relevant Australian Recognised Trade Qualification
- Current C Class Drivers Licence
- Current WA 'A' class electrical workers license
- Previous electrical experience maintaining fixed plant in a mining environment
- Experience in the maintenance and troubleshooting of Variable Speed Drives
- Competent understanding of electrical schematics, isolation and permitting systems
