  • Hold accountability for commercial and financial performance, including profitability, forecasting, cost control and resource planning
  • Establish disciplined programme governance, portfolio prioritisation, performance metrics and operating rhythms
  • Identify and manage technical, commercial, programme and customer risks across the full product lifecycle
  • Partner with Sales, Commercial and Finance teams on bids, pricing, contracts, change control and delivery risk
  • Build trusted executive relationships with customers, partners and stakeholders, acting as executive sponsor for major programmes
  • Translate Fortescue Zero’s technology and product strategy into executable plans that improve capability, scalability and business performance

About You

  • Significant executive leadership experience within a large engineering, product development or programme delivery organisation
  • Proven success leading multidisciplinary engineering teams through the full product lifecycle

  • Strong commercial and financial capability, including profit and loss accountability, project profitability and contract management
  • Extensive programme management, portfolio governance and large-scale project delivery experience
  • Strong understanding of systems engineering, product development, technical governance and operational excellence
  • Experience delivering products or systems within mining, energy, industrial, heavy engineering or other demanding sectors
  • Demonstrated ability to combine engineering excellence, innovation and commercial delivery
  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical, mechanical, systems engineering or a related discipline
  • Experience working with original equipment manufacturers, engineering, procurement and construction contractors, mining companies or industrial customers will be highly regarded
