Principal Product Marketing
Our Opportunity
Based in the UK (Marylebone office) and reporting to Global Brand & Marketing, this role leads Fortescue’s product marketing strategy - connecting technology, innovation, and brand storytelling to global audiences.
The role oversees the planning and delivery of Fortescue Zero’s product marketing portfolio including Motorsport and Advanced Engineering, Elysia. This includes developing and supporting the integrated marketing campaigns, content, case studies, and go-to-market assets.
A key responsibility is to ensure that product, technology, and R&D insights are effectively integrated into Fortescue’s global marketing and content ecosystem, strengthening the company’s position as a leader in green energy and zero-emissions technology.
Key Responsibilities
Product Marketing
- Develop and execute integrated marketing plans that translate complex product capabilities into compelling customer and investor value propositions.
- Partner with marketing SMEs to build messaging and go-to-market strategies, ensuring commercial alignment and brand consistency.
- Create product toolkits (presentations, brochures, case studies, web content) that support sales and stakeholder engagement globally.
- Lead audience development and segmentation strategies to identify priority markets, refine targeting, and tailor messaging for maximum relevance and impact.
Partnership & Event Management
- Support delivery of Fortescue Zero’s Motorsport partnerships.
- Maximise sponsorship ROI through coordinated activation across media, PR, content, and on-site experiences.
- Manage partner relationships and performance reporting to ensure alignment with brand and business objectives.
Brand Guardianship
- Ensure the Fortescue Zero brand and narrative are represented consistently across all product and partnership touchpoints.
- Embed brand and design standards in all product-related marketing materials, events, and communications.
Content & Digital Marketing
- Collaborate with the global content and digital teams to bring Fortescue Zero’s innovation and technology stories to life across social, web, paid, and earned media channels.
- Develop and manage a content calendar that aligns with product launches, key events, and partnership milestones
Campaign Performance & Measurement
- Define success metrics and track the performance of product and sponsorship marketing campaigns.
- Analyse engagement, sentiment, and ROI data to refine strategy and guide future investment decisions.
Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Engagement
- Work closely with internal teams – product owners, communications, to ensure message alignment and integration.
Qualifications and Experience
- Degree in Communications, Marketing, Business, or relevant field preferred.
- 10+ years’ experience in product marketing, sponsorship management, or brand partnerships, ideally within energy, technology, or automotive sectors.
- Strong understanding of integrated marketing, content strategy, and digital amplification.
- Ability to simplify complex technical information into accessible, engaging narratives.
Comfortable in a fast-paced environment - Work effectively under pressure to meet challenging timelines with competing priorities and stakeholders
- Strong project management, stakeholder engagement skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
