  • Provide mentoring, guidance, and operational support to Aboriginal Development Coordinators, assisting with case management, issue resolution, and consistent application of processes and standards.
  • Deliver culturally informed, wrap-around support to trainees and participants, addressing wellbeing, attendance, performance, and personal barriers impacting retention and success.
  • Work closely with site leaders, supervisors, training providers, and HR Business Partners to support participant integration, performance management, and culturally safe workplace practices.
  • Support the implementation of Aboriginal Development initiatives, identifying opportunities for process improvements and contributing to program enhancements based on participant and site feedback.
  • Maintain accurate participant records, reporting, and compliance requirements, supporting data collection for program outcomes and workforce metrics.

  • Demonstrated ability to support and mentor Coordinators in complex, fast-paced operational settings.
  • High cultural competency with a demonstrated commitment to culturally safe practices and First Nations empowerment.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust with participants, families, and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work autonomously across remote or FIFO environments.
  • Relevant qualifications in HR, Community Development, Training & Assessment, Aboriginal Affairs or similar are desirable, but not essential where demonstrated experience exists.
