Crane Operator
Our Opportunity
Work Location: Cloudbreak - Fortescue’s Cloudbreak mine is located on the traditional lands of the Palyku and Nyiyaparli peoples.
Roster: 7D/7N/14R - FIFO ex Perth or Busselton
Cloudbreak is seeking a Crane Operator to support maintenance teams by safely executing lifting activities in line with planned schedules and operational priorities.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate cranes safely in line with site procedures and lift plans
- Support planned and breakdown maintenance activities
- Assist maintenance teams with lifting and rigging tasks
- Conduct pre-start inspections and ensure equipment reliability
- Follow safety standards and contribute to continuous improvement
- Maintain accurate records of lifts and equipment use
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members
- Identify hazards and implement appropriate controls
Qualifications and Experience
- WA Class HR Driver’s Licence
- High Risk Work Licence – Open Crane
- High Risk Work Licence – Non-Slewing Crane
- High Risk Work Licence – Basic Rigging
- Demonstrated experience operating LTM cranes
- Strong commitment to safety and compliance
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
