Our Opportunity

 

Work Location: Cloudbreak - Fortescue’s Cloudbreak mine is located on the traditional lands of the Palyku and Nyiyaparli peoples.

 

Roster: 7D/7N/14R - FIFO ex Perth or Busselton

 

Cloudbreak is seeking a Crane Operator to support maintenance teams by safely executing lifting activities in line with planned schedules and operational priorities.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Operate cranes safely in line with site procedures and lift plans
  • Support planned and breakdown maintenance activities
  • Assist maintenance teams with lifting and rigging tasks
  • Conduct pre-start inspections and ensure equipment reliability
  • Follow safety standards and contribute to continuous improvement
  • Maintain accurate records of lifts and equipment use
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members
  • Identify hazards and implement appropriate controls

Qualifications and Experience

 

  • WA Class HR Driver’s Licence
  • High Risk Work Licence – Open Crane
  • High Risk Work Licence – Non-Slewing Crane
  • High Risk Work Licence – Basic Rigging
  • Demonstrated experience operating LTM cranes
  • Strong commitment to safety and compliance
  • Ability to work effectively within a team environment
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
