Dump Truck Operators

Our Opportunity

Roster: 2:1 or 2:2 ex Perth and Busselton

Work Location: Eliwana

Eliwana is located on the traditional lands of the Puutu Kunti Kurrama people.

We are seeking experienced Mining Operators with demonstrated capability operating the below equipment within a production mining environment.

• CAT 793 Dump Trucks
• Liebherr T264 Dump Trucks

Key Responsibilities

• Operate mining equipment safety and efficiently in accordance with Fortescue policies and site requirements.
• Maintain equipment performance and identify improvement opportunities.
• Complete pre-start and post-operational inspections, ensuring any concerns are escalated immediately.
• Work collaboratively with the site supervisors and other team members.
• Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of all mining equipment.
• Demonstrate behaviours aligned with Fortescue’s values.
• Adhere to Zero Harm principles at all times.

Qualifications and Experience

• Demonstrated experience operating CAT 793 and/or Liebherr T264 dump trucks.
• Proven experience in surface mining operations.
• Sound understanding of mine plans and safety requirements.
• Knowledge of Mine Safety & Inspection and OHS Act Regulations.
• Current WA Manual Class C Driver’s Licence.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Reliable, punctual and strong work ethic.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend an Assessment Centre in Perth.
