Roster:  4/3 OR  8/6 FIFO ex Perth or Busselton

 

Fortescue is seeking expressions of interest from experienced Mining rquipment Trainers and Assessors to support operational training delivery across our operations.

This opportunity is suited to highly experienced operators who are passionate about developing people, maintaining high training standards, and supporting safe and productive mining operations.

 

About the Role
As a Trainer & Assessor, you will be responsible for delivering operational training, conducting assessments, and supporting workforce capability across mining equipment operations. You will play a key role in ensuring operators meet site competency and safety standards.

 

Essential Criteria
Candidates must have strong operational experience across multiple mining equipment types, including:

  • Production Excavators
  • Production Loaders
  • Dozers
  • Graders
  • Mechanical or Electric Haul Trucks
  • Support / Ancillary Equipment

 

Key Attributes

  • Demonstrated mining operations experience
  • Strong safety focus and operational knowledge
  • Ability to coach, mentor, and support developing operators
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environme

 

Desirable

  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or willingness to obtain)
  • Previous training or mentoring experience within mining operations
