Our Opportunity
Work Location: Fortescue’s Perth office is located on the traditional lands of the Whadjuk people.
Roster: Monday to Friday
This is a 7 month fixed-term contract opportunity
Looking to make a meaningful impact in environmental management while working with a collaborative and purpose-driven team? We’re seeking an Environmental Advisor to join our Nature & Science team on a 7-month fixed-term contract based in Perth.
This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to environmental compliance, research, and data management across a diverse portfolio of projects, while gaining exposure to both office-based and occasional field work.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting with environmental compliance and reporting
- Supporting baseline studies and monitoring programs
- Maintaining environmental and spatial databases
- Contributing to environmental communications and research partnerships
- Collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders
- Participating in occasional fieldwork to support surveys
Qualifications and Experience
- Around 3+ years’ experience in the resources or environmental sector
- Knowledge of the Pilbara environment and WA regulatory requirements
- Experience with GIS and Microsoft Office tools
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and work across diverse teams
