Planner - Short Term
Our Opportunity
Location: Fortescue’s Solomon mine is located on the traditional lands of the Eastern Guruma and Yindjibarndi peoples.
Roster: 8D6R
Fortescue is seeking an experienced and qualified Short-Term Planner to provide planning/work management support to the NPI maintenance and operational teams for Infrastructure Services Solomon.
Reporting to the NPI Superintendent, this permanent full-time position will consist of ensuring all planning and work management is performed effectively, safely and in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities
- Scope, plan, schedule and coordinate maintenance of resources, parts, materials and access to plant and equipment.
- Prioritising work with the Supervisors, Superintendents and external departments, utilising your considerable stakeholder and relationship building skills.
- Establish Preventive and Corrective maintenance activities in accordance with OEM recommendations including - Create “SAP Task List”.
- Provide input into plans, budgets and targets for the Maintenance Department and ensure delivery against these.
- Manage and present work management KPI reporting.
- Comply with all KPIs, safety standards and Mine Services work management RACI.
Qualifications and Experience
- Relevant industry or transferable experience within a Maintenance or Planning/Scheduling related role.
- Trade qualification (desirable).
- SAP CMMS knowledge and demonstrated experience essential.
- Proven ability to plan and schedule for multiple areas and disciplines.
- Thorough knowledge of all aspects of the CMMS configuration/workflows i.e. FLOC, costs, people, equipment, materials etc.
