We’re looking for a Principal Change Manager to lead the people, process and adoption side of significant change across our Process, Systems & Assurance team. You’ll help turn new systems, digital tools, data solutions and process standards into practical changes that work for our operations and deliver lasting value.

Working with teams across Operations, Asset Management, Technology, Projects and other functions, you’ll shape change plans from design through implementation and adoption. You’ll make sure leaders understand what’s changing, frontline teams are ready to work in new ways, and improvements are sustained after implementation.

This is an opportunity to shape how Fortescue embeds capability and realises value from the systems and processes that support safe, reliable and productive operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead change planning for new systems, digital tools, data solutions, processes and operating models.
• Translate complex changes into practical implementation plans, clear responsibilities and readiness requirements.
• Build alignment and support through targeted engagement and communication with leaders, frontline teams and stakeholders.
• Coordinate operational readiness, including training, procedure updates, cutover and post-implementation support.
• Track adoption, feedback and business outcomes, addressing barriers and corrective actions where needed.
• Identify change risks and improvement opportunities, using data and lessons learned to strengthen delivery and realise value.

Qualifications and Experience

• Significant experience leading change related to technology, systems, processes or operating models.
• Proven ability to guide change from design through implementation, adoption and continuous improvement.
• Experience in a complex operational, industrial, resources or other asset-intensive environment.
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders and frontline teams.
• Experience coordinating multiple initiatives and managing competing priorities and cumulative change impacts.
• Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent practical experience; formal change management certification is desirable.
