Location: Across Pilbara Operations
Roster: 4D/3R FIFO ex Perth
Reporting to the Mobile Assets Manager, this role supports the performance and reliability of our mobile fleet while contributing to the transition toward lower-emissions and electrified equipment. You will guide a team to identify opportunities, solve problems, and implement practical improvements that enhance safety, efficiency, and asset performance across the operation.
With a strong focus on emerging technologies, this position plays a key role in supporting the integration and optimisation of electrified and low-emissions systems. Working closely with operations, maintenance, and OEM partners, you will help shape how these technologies are introduced, maintained, and improved over time.

Key Responsibilities
- Support and guide a team of engineers, fostering a positive and inclusive environment where people can grow and contribute
- Identify and support improvements in equipment performance, reliability, and efficiency across the fleet
- Contribute to initiatives focused on the electrification and decarbonisation of mobile equipment
- Provide technical support across electrical, control, and emerging technology systems within heavy mobile equipment
- Work collaboratively with operations, maintenance, planning teams, and OEM partners to introduce and optimise new technologies
- Support the safe integration and ongoing performance of battery-electric, hybrid, or alternative energy systems
- Use data and insights to understand performance trends, prioritise actions, and monitor improvements
- Contribute to asset lifecycle strategies, ensuring alignment with future fleet requirements
- Partner across site to improve systems, processes, and ways of working
- Promote safe, responsible, and inclusive work practices
Qualifications and Experience
- Experience in a technical, maintenance, or engineering environment within mining or heavy industry
- Exposure to electrical, high-voltage, or control systems within mobile equipment or industrial settings
- Interest in or experience supporting electrification, decarbonisation, or emerging technologies
- Experience supporting or guiding teams in operational or technical environments
- Ability to build strong, collaborative relationships across multiple teams and stakeholders
- Well-developed problem-solving skills, with a thoughtful and adaptable approach
- Experience using data and insights to inform decisions and drive improvement
- Clear and engaging communication skills, with the ability to bring others along the journey
- Relevant trade, technical qualification, or engineering background (electrical discipline highly regarded)
- A proactive and supportive approach to continuous improvement and learning
