Fortescue is seeking an exceptional Technology Executive Support Specialist to deliver a premium, high-touch technology experience to our executive leadership team.

 

This is not a traditional IT support role. This is a trusted partnership position operating at the highest level of the organisation.

 

You will serve as the primary point of contact for executive-level technology support, ensuring seamless, proactive and discreet service to the CEO, CFO, Directors, Board Members and Chairman. Your ability to operate with integrity, professionalism and technical excellence will directly contribute to the operational effectiveness and reputation of Fortescue.

 

This role requires a highly responsive mindset, including availability on-call for critical executive matters to ensure continuity and minimal disruption.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver “white glove” technology support tailored to the needs of Fortescue’s executive leadership team.
  • Act as the single, trusted point of contact for all executive IT matters.
    Provide rapid diagnosis and resolution of complex, high-impact and time-sensitive issues.
  • Proactively anticipate technology requirements and recommend enhancements that improve efficiency and user experience.
  • Handle confidential and highly sensitive information with absolute discretion.
  • Partner closely with internal technology teams to coordinate seamless, end-to-end service delivery.
  • Engage and manage external vendors and technology partners where required.
  • Maintain awareness of emerging technologies and industry best practice to provide informed, forward-looking advice.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology or a related discipline (desirable).
  • ITIL v4 certification (desirable).
  • Proven experience delivering dedicated technology support to senior executives or board-level stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate calmly and effectively in high-pressure, time-critical environments.
  • Strong experience within IT Service Management (ITSM) frameworks and environments.
  • Experience collaborating across technical, operational and business teams.
  • Sound knowledge of ITSM practices and service delivery frameworks.
  • Experience using ServiceNow or comparable ITSM platforms.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise technology environments, including end-user computing, mobility and collaboration tools.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues independently.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • High emotional intelligence and professional presence suited to executive engagement.
  • Unquestionable integrity and discretion.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capability.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Strategic mindset with a strong focus on executive user experience.
