We are currently inviting Expressions of Interest from qualified Electricians to join our talent community for current and upcoming opportunities across our Pilbara operations.

 

We are particularly interested in candidates with experience in one or more of the following:

 

  • Fixed Plant Maintenance
  • Non-Process Infrastructure (NPI)
  • High Voltage (HV)
  • Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I)
  • Rail Maintenance
  • Heavy Mobile Equipment (HME) Maintenance
  • Dewatering Operations & Maintenance
  • Power Station Operations & Maintenance

Work Location & Rosters

 

Location: FIFO from Perth, Busselton, Karratha or Port Hedland to our Pilbara WA mine sites.

 

Rosters vary depending on site and department and may include: 7D7N7R OR 7D7N14R OR 7D7R OR 8D6R7N7R

Key Responsibilities

Depending on your area of expertise, responsibilities may include:

 

  • Breakdown and preventative maintenance across fixed plant, infrastructure and operational assets
  • Daily inspections, repairs and maintenance of electrical equipment
  • Diagnostics, fault finding and troubleshooting
  • High Voltage switching and isolations (where applicable)
  • Maintenance of dewatering systems, power generation assets or rail infrastructure
  • Instrumentation calibration and control system maintenance
  • Variable Speed Drive maintenance and troubleshooting
  • Modular, project and shutdown maintenance
  • Raising notifications and work orders
  • Identifying and scoping continuous improvement opportunities
  • Conducting statutory testing and inspections
  • Working in accordance with AS3000, Work Health Regulations and site safety standards
  • Maintaining compliance with isolation and permitting systems

Qualifications and Experience

 

  • Relevant Australian recognised Electrical Trade Qualification
  • Current WA ‘A’ Class Electrical Workers Licence (or transferable equivalent)
  • Current C Class Driver’s Licence
  • Strong commitment to safety and teamwork

 

Highly regarded:

 

  • Previous experience maintaining fixed plant in a mining or heavy industrial environment
  • High Voltage Switching qualification and experience
  • Instrumentation qualification or E&I experience
  • Experience in power station or dewatering operations
  • Rail maintenance experience
  • Strong understanding of electrical schematics and drawings
  • Experience with isolation and permitting systems
  • Experience using Microsoft programs and computer-based maintenance systems (SAP desirable)
