Reliability Engineer

Roster: 8D6R FIFO ex Perth
We are seeking a motivated Reliability Engineer to join our Heavy Mobile Equipment (HME) team at Eliwana on a fixed-term contract through to October 2026. In this role, you will provide technical and engineering expertise to support data-driven maintenance decisions and optimise equipment performance across the fleet. You will play a key role in driving reliability outcomes through root cause analysis, preventative maintenance strategies, and continuous improvement initiatives, helping to enhance the efficiency and performance of our HME assets.

Key Responsibilities
- Partner with supervisors and workshop teams to deliver practical engineering solutions and continuous improvement
- Analyse maintenance data and KPIs to identify trends and drive targeted corrective actions
- Provide reliability engineering support aligned with maintenance strategies and Whole of Life plans
- Lead Root Cause Analyses for recurring failures and implement sustainable solutions
- Optimise maintenance planning and critical spares to improve HME performance and reliability
Qualifications and Experience
- Experience in a heavy mobile maintenance environment is preferred.
- Exposure to mineral processing or similar industrial environments is advantageous.
- Tertiary qualifications in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or a relevant trade certification in a mechanical or electrical discipline.
- Proficient communication skills and a proactive, solutions-focused approach.
- Experience with Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (e.g., SAP) is highly regarded.
