Our Opportunity

Location - Cloudbreak - Fortescue’s Cloudbreak mine is located on the traditional lands of the Nyiyaparli people.

Roster - 14 Days / 14 Off Perth FIFO

The Trades Assistant role reports directly to the OPF Central Maintenance and will be responsible for assisting with repairing, maintaining and improving systems and equipment to safely deliver world class availability and reliability Operational processing plants at Cloudbreak

Key Responsibilities

• Assist technicians in day-to-day activities.
• Support Boiler Makers and maintenance tasks.
• Participate in conveyor system maintenance, crusher maintenance, gearbox change-outs, and skirt replacement.
• Contribute to all aspects of shutdown activities.
• Operate telehandler/forklift.

Qualifications and Experience

• Current driver’s license.
• Forklift ticket.
• White card.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Effective problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Self-motivated with a strong willingness to learn.
• Enthusiastic about contributing to a diverse and supportive team.
