Our Opportunity

Join Fortescue's Heavy-Haul Locomotive Program and help shape the future of rail decarbonisation. We're seeking expressions of interest from internal candidates for a six-month secondment as a Systems Integration Engineer. In this exciting opportunity, you'll play a key role in evaluating, integrating, and deploying battery systems and charging infrastructure that will support the next generation of heavy-haul rail technology. Working alongside multidisciplinary engineering and operations teams, you'll contribute to supplier engagement, technical evaluations, system integration, and the successful delivery of innovative, sustainable rail solutions. If you're passionate about engineering, collaboration, and driving the future of clean energy in rail, we'd love to hear from you.

This six-month fixed-term internal appointment offers the opportunity to contribute to a high-profile project supporting Fortescue's rail decarbonisation journey. There is potential for the appointment to be extended or lead to other opportunities, depending on business requirements, funding, and performance.
